  When you  praise yourself , do it with an honest infectious enthusiasm. It's OK to be proud of  yourself . It's OK to have a smile on your face, a spring in your step and pride in your voice when you share your accomplishments. In fact, it will be received more positively by others than if you do it with false humility.

  Difficulties and adversities viciously force all their might on us and cause us to fall apart, but they are necessary elements of individual growth and reveal our true potential.   Never lose hope . ... Storms make people stronger and   never   last forever.

  When you  compete  with  yourself , you are, essentially, dismissing other people's measures for success. You might find  yourself  pursuing something that would seem crazy or like a waste of time to someone else, but it doesn't matter anymore — you aren't subject to what they think of you.
